Adventure to Fitness

Accessing Each Week’s Adventure is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

STEP 1:  Enter the following address into your browser’s address bar:

STEP 2:  Create your account

Click the "Create Account" button.  Remember, you must use your official  school email address to participate.  This process takes seconds to complete.

Note: A validation email will be sent to your school email address. The validation email will come from admin@adventuretofitness.com.  Subject line will read “Adventure To Fitness Network Registration”.  Once you click the validation link, you are ready for step three!

If you don’t receive the validation email in your mailbox, please check your spam or junk mail folders.
 

STEP 3:  Click “Play” to view the current week’s episode or scroll down for past adventures.

 

  • Every episode comes with Teacher Guides and aligns to State Standards in common core subjects.

Marathon Kids

Marathon Kids, sponsored through the Hooper Avenue ES Runner's Club, is a free 6 month run walk program for elementary schools, students, parents and siblings. Marathon Kids Kickoff celebration will be at the LA Memorial Coliseum October.  The final mile celebration will be in March. Fitnessgram

WHAT IS FITNESSGRAM?

Fitnessgram is used to help 5th grade students asses their personal fitness levels and allow them to know if they are in the healthy fitness zone (HFZ) for their age level.

Fitnessgram includes tests to measure the students':

  • Aerobic Capacity – One mile run, PACER, Walk test
  • Body Composition – Body Mass Index (height & weight)
  • Abdominal Strength and Endurance – Curl-Up test
  • Trunk Extensor Strength and Flexibility – Trunk Lift
  • Upper Body Strength and Endurance – Modified Pull Up, Push Up
  • Flexibility – Shoulder Stretch, Back Saver Sit and Reach
